County fans can expect more than just the action on the pitch this Good Friday, as Stockport County Community Trust brings its work to life across a dedicated Focus Fixture at Edgeley Park.
Ahead of kick-off, Community Trust staff will be positioned around the stadium hosting a bucket collection, giving supporters the opportunity to contribute directly to the charity’s work. Collections will take place both pre-match and at half-time, making it easy for fans to get involved.
On the pitch, the first team will warm up in specially branded Community Trust T-shirts. Following the final whistle, the shirts will be auctioned in hospitality, with all proceeds going towards the Trust’s fundraising efforts.
Half-time will provide a moment of recognition, as CEO Alison Warwood and Club President Steve Bellis present this year’s Community Champions. The awards celebrate individuals from across the Trust’s programmes who have made a meaningful impact within their communities.
Supporters in the 1883 Suite will also be able to engage more closely with the Trust’s work. Each table will feature a dedicated leaflet outlining key programmes, alongside the matchday menu and itinerary, with a QR code providing a direct route to donate or find out more.
With activity taking place throughout the stadium, Friday’s fixture is designed to showcase the breadth of the Community Trust’s impact - and give supporters multiple ways to get involved and support its continued growth.
