FAQs

Our interview process usually takes place in two stages: a first interview and, if successful, a second interview. This approach gives us the chance to get to know you, your experience and what you’d bring to the Club, and it also gives you the opportunity to get to know us, ask any questions you may have about the role and get a feel for what it’s like to be a part of the Club.

You will be asked if you require any reasonable adjustments on your application form, which will then be reviewed by the hiring manager. If you have any questions or specific adjustments, you can contact hr@stockportcouny.com for more information.

You have the option to attach your CV to your careers profile; however, we require all of our prospective applicants to apply using the online application linked to the role that you’re interested in.

You can expect a range of questions designed to help us understand your experience, how you’d approach the role and your career aspirations. We’ll ask about your background, the skills you’ve developed and specific examples of when you’ve used them. Some questions will focus on the responsibilities of the role itself, so you can talk us through relevant experience and how you’d approach key parts of the job. For certain roles, we may also ask you to prepare a short task or exercise in advance, giving you the chance to show your thinking and how you work in practice.

If you’re unsuccessful, you’re welcome to ask for feedback. We provide detailed and constructive feedback to all candidates who reach the interview stage, as we want the process to be helpful and supportive for you as well as for us.
